Just wanted to say a few words about one of my role models, namely, Sonny Curtis who passed away last Friday. Sonny and I toured together, doing everything from small clubs to stadiums, during the late 80s and early 90s. In the same period, he produced an album with me called, ‘Through my door’. The recordings had some of the top rock musicians working on it, people who I would have no idea how to contact nowadays. Moreover, Sonny and his lovely wife, Louise opened their home to me on numerous occasions, allowed me to use their cars, and also introduced me to their friends on a private level. I had frequent memorable meals with among others, Don Everly, Scotty Moore, Jerry Allison et al. It goes on and on. I couldn't understand how a songwriter and musician of Sonny's calibre would do so much for me. In my mind he will always be a gentleman, modest, extremely talented, and I'm saddened by his passing. He lives on through his music.

First of all, happy 2024. Second of all, sorry for being so lax in posting updates to the site. Technology has never been my strong point.
Many many thanks to my family and friends for all the support during the (you know what) UK TV shows.
Support is one thing but, hard work and hours of effort and time is another thing altogether. (You know who I'm talking about don't you, Mick, Lars, Christaidh and Henrik et. al.) Family and friendship are so precious.
Gig wise, things are heating up for 2024 and I'm really looking forward to the Dundee, June gigs,
Still trying to get my head around The Voice UK on TV last night. Thanks for all the kind words from family and friends, not to mention all the great singers on the show. It's a bit humbling, I must say. Most of all, heartfelt thanks to all the people who came to my gigs again and again.
